How Dr. Harris Meyer Brought His  Passion Across the Bay

After more than two decades caring for patients in San Francisco, Dr. Harris Meyer decided it was time for a change. The city had been good to him, but the pull toward something calmer — something closer to home — grew stronger. So he crossed the bridge, settled in the East Bay, and opened a new chiropractic practice surrounded by sunshine, friendly faces, and a slower pace of life.

“I love our new location and the space,” Dr. Meyer says with a grin.

“The community here is wonderful. I only wish I’d moved sooner.”

A Natural Path to Healing

Dr. Meyer’s work has always gone beyond adjusting spines or easing pain. His philosophy is simple: the body is built to heal — sometimes it just needs a little help. In his East Bay office, patients come in with everything from back injuries to nerve pain, diabetes, and autoimmune issues. Many arrive feeling hopeless, tired of endless medications or temporary fixes. What they often find instead is relief, and a renewed sense of control.

“Every patient’s story is different,” he says.

“What I love most is seeing that moment when they realize they can feel better — really better.”

Finding Community

When Dr. Meyer first opened his doors, he wasn’t sure what to expect. What he found was a warm, welcoming community that quickly began to feel like family.

“People here really care about their health and about each other,” he says. “We share smiles, stories, and sometimes even hugs.”

The atmosphere in his office reflects that same feeling — calm, kind, and connected. Patients often stop by just to say hello or share good news about their recovery.

More Than Medicine

What sets Dr. Meyer apart isn’t just his years of experience or the advanced therapies he uses — it’s his heart for people.

He listens deeply, laughs easily, and treats every patient with genuine care. His greatest joy comes from seeing someone who’s been struggling finally get their life back.

“There’s nothing better than watching hope

return,” he says. “That’s what keeps me going every single day.”
